Most people are aware of the increased efficiency of CFL bulbs over incandescent bulbs. Advances in CFL technology and affordability are making these bulbs an excellent option for most, if not all, residential lighting. However, there is more to efficient lighting that switching to CFLs! These sites will explain other aspects of lighting which may yield improved efficiency and use of lighting overall in your home. Just remember that these sources all date from the 1990s, so bulb information is dated.

Appliances
