Insulating

If you have little or no insulation in your walls, attic, basement, or crawlspace, you can add to your energy savings by increasing your insulation levels. You will first want to refer to the Insulation graphic guide in the Education section of this blog to discover if adding insulation in your home makes sense. Then it is important to remember that insulation is often the last step in a plan to make your home more energy efficient. Repair of any combustion appliance safety issues and thorough air sealing are important first steps before insulating.
