A follow up to this post...OWC (Other World Computing) corporate headquarters in Woodstock, IL will soon be awarded “Platinum” level certification, the highest level given by the United States Green Building Council’s LEED program, for compliance with environmentally sound building methods which incorporate innovative use of “green” systems and materials. Later this year, OWC will again take a leadership role in environmental stewardship by installing a clean power source wind turbine that will generate more than double the amount of power required by OWC’s operations.

Be sure to find rain barrels which offer a mesh mosquito guard, and also look for barrels which have an overflow valve function to allow the excess water to flow out of the rain barrel and away from your foundation. Hooking a drip hose to this valve is a great way to give your garden or flower bed a constant source of moisture.

I'm a high schooler in LA county and my evironmental science class has actually formed a coalition against single-use plastic bottles. We're going to have a rally and benefit concert at my school to raise awareness. You're not alone!

Would they happen to have any office furniture (desks, chairs, bookshelves) that they also need to get dispose of? I work for a nonprofit, and we're looking for furniture for our office. Thanks!
