C3's goal is to train Chicago residents in proper home weatherization and energy efficiency practices, then to provide each trained resident with a weatherization kit so they can take immediate action in their own homes. We have 3500 weatherization kits to share this year but C3 must build these weatherization kits ourselves. This means that we need help!
We are hosting a Kit Building Party on Wednesday, November 7th from 5-9pm at the Museum. Our goal is to get 50-100 volunteers to help us assemble these 3500 kits. If you're available, we would love your assistance. It'll be a lot of work, but we expect that it will also be a lot of fun (and very rewarding - think of all the people you're helping!).
