Small Group Dialogue and Citizen Leadership:
Creating Cultural Change towards a Sustainable Future
Saturday April 7th, 10am-2pm
Byron Colby Barn at Prairie Crossing Conservation Community, Grayslake, IL
Please join Northwest Earth Institute National Outreach Coordinator Deborah McNamara and local community organizers for a day of workshops and networking sessions and to learn more about the Northwest Earth Institute model of cultural change through small group dialogue and citizen leadership. Workshops will explore individual and community transformation arising from the NWEI discussion circle model, a grassroots initiative empowering citizens throughout the United States and Canada to take greater responsibility for the Earth.
Participants will learn successful strategies for engaging new and diverse groups in sustainability efforts and gain insights into creating a more sustainable future through grassroots outreach and the use of NWEI study guides. The workshop will be held at Prairie Crossing Conservation Community, a model of sustainability in action.
The workshop is free and open to the public.
