Public Wild Yeast workshops

Learn some basics about wild yeast through bread making, pickling and the fermentation of honey. Free (reservation required).

  • SOURDOUGH – Thursday, November 16, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
  • PICKLES – Sunday, November 19, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
  • MEAD – Wednesday, November 29, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Nance Klehm is a practitioner of ad-hoc urban growing and foraging. She is also a ecological landscape designer, a writer and a lecturer. She has a comprehensive knowledge about historical and practical uses of plants in medicine and cooking.

2nd floor of the International Hostel, 24 E. Congress Parkway (corner of Congress & Wabash). Come prepared to work in the kitchen with others.
