As her first C3 project, Carla Winterbottom built the box she’s showing off in this picture. It has one standard bulb and one new cool fluorescent bulb, with a switch and an electric meter. You can switch between the bulbs and SEE the difference in the speed of the meter.
She was exhibiting here, distributing the new bulbs, and educating kids and adults about where to get more of them (any local hardware store, for instance). She wasn’t promoting any particular brand, only the concept — and the savings!
