In the C3 classes, we learn about Asset-Based Community Development. At a conference this week, I met Cheryl Honey, the creator of Community Weaving and the Family Support Network, an international implementation of ABCD that we can use right here in Chicago.
Anyone can Register as a Good Neighbor there and add your skills, interests and experiences to the Resource Treasury, which is searchable by all registered Good Neighbors.
I’ve created a GroupID called C3. If C3 leaders register there, we can help grow the list of resources, nationally and locally. This simple database might help us stay connected as a C3 leadership community, as well as help us each connect individually in any other areas of interest or expertise we might have.
