Fall Leadership Training Announced

Tell your friends! The next round of Chicago Conservation Corps Leadership Training is taking place on five Saturdays in October and November. We’d love to see your friends, colleagues, volunteers, family, pets . . . well, no, not pets . . . at one of our upcoming orientations:

Tuesday, September 12 – 7:00 – 8:00pm
Center for Neighborhood Technology – 2125 West North Avenue

Thursday, September 14 – 7:00 – 8:00pm
North Park Village Nature Center – 5801 N. Pulaski Road

Tuesday, September 19 – 7:00 – 8:00pm
Southeast Environmental Task Force – 13300 S. Baltimore Ave.

Thursday, September 21 – 7:00 – 8:00pm
Chicago Center for Green Technology – 445 N. Sacramento Blvd.

Saturday, September 23 – 11am – Noon
Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences, Music Room – 3857 W 111th St.

Tuesday, September 26 – Noon – 1:00pm
Chicago Department of Environment, 30 N. LaSalle St. 25th Floor, Chicago, IL 60602

To participate in the training course, individuals must attend one orientation. Reservations are not required, but are appreciated. Talked with 2 people about co-ops and critical mass and BeyondYes and food buying co-ops and bulk purchasing of environmental goodness like green roofs and such. Have since exchanged emails with each one. [...]
