Interested in composting? The City of Chicago, in conjunction with the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance and the University of Illinois Extension, is sponsoring a one-day sale of compost bins on Saturday, August 19 between 8 am and 4 pm. The bins are only $25, a substantial discount from their regular price of $80.
If you live in Chicago, you can purchase the bins while supplies last at any of the following locations:
