During the Air & Energy Class, there was a lot of discussion around sustainable argiculture. We’ve located links to lists of Illinois CSA’s (Community Supported Argiculture) and Chicago Farmers Markets.
We’ve also included a hefty paper titled Diet, Energy, and Global Warming which disusses the “Meat vs. Cars” idea brought up during class.
Finally, we learned that no public information is available yet about the Chicago Organic Initiative Suzanne mentioned on Saturday. However, she was able to supply us with the Red Tomato Report, which offers a fascinating summary of some of the early thinking and efforts that led to the Initiative. An inspiring read!
